What You Get — Advocacy on your behalf at the state and national levels, Educational Opportunities, Credential Recognition, Networking, Publications
Advocacy: The SICP is the premier advocate for the invasive cardiovascular professional at the state and national levels. SICP will provide you with legislative updates, call to action alerts, messaging and guidance on how to contact your representatives. Make your voice heard! Joining SICP directly supports the promotion and advancement of your profession.
Educational Opportunities: Available through the various national association and society meetings that SICP partners with. We are able to coordinate with such groups as the SCAI, TCT and New Cardiovascular Horizons to offer SICP member discounts on registration fees.
Credential Recognition: The SICP is an inclusive professional society. We accept members of all disciplines working in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The SICP recognizes and endorses the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential, offered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International, as the inclusive credential for invasive cardiovascular allied health professionals.
Networking: Joining a professional society opens the doors to many other professionals just like you! Get involved, get in the know! Ask your questions – email firstname.lastname@example.org today – we’ll forward that email to the appropriate SICP leader.
Publications: SICP is a regular contributor to Cath Lab Digest. Your name will be forwarded to CLD to secure your complimentary subscription. You will also receive the SICP News, the Society’s periodic electronic newsletter.
